Jay Moody
Director of School Relations
Jay began working with the Partnership in 2017 and currently serves as the Director of School Relations. He supports and challenges the education community in continually advancing the system to better meet student and community needs with focused attention and alignment of innovation, technology, entrepreneur programs and career opportunity development. Additionally, he serves to assist student transitions from high school to college through his oversight of FAFSA completion rates and college guides in Stark County’s three urban high schools.
Jay has served on national, state, and regional advisory boards. He taught elementary, middle, and high school students, college-level undergraduate classes, and graduate workshops. He formerly served as director of 21st Century Learning for Canton Local Schools. He was selected in 2019 to participate in the ISTE-General Motors Artificial Intelligence Explorations in K-12 School Environments program.
Jay earned his bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Walsh University and his master’s of education in administration and supervision from Ashland University.
